Something New Everyday

I will try to put something of interest on our blog daily, even if it is only a short paragraph.  You may find stuff about our home, diets, lifestyles, thoughts, places we go, things we do, people we see, golf, religion, family, kids, grandchildren, ideas, recipes, politics, humor, pictures, quotes, interesting things, blessings, feelings, memories, advice, sports, our plans, or whatever.

I guess the idea is if we keep things current and interesting, it will give people a reason to visit our blog more often.

Our Grandson Nicholas

Our daughter Sarah, her husband Dan and their son Nicholas recently celebrated the first anniversary of Nicholas' adoption (December 27th).

Sarah and Dan recently enrolled Nicholas in wrestling.  Nicholas is shown below practicing a lunging technique.  Also below is Nicholas on one of their Friday family pizza nights.  We will try to post photos from time to time for our family and friends who do not have Facebook.  Enjoy great-grandma Card...

Our Granddaughter Rya

Our daughter Debra sent me this picture yesterday of Rya getting a haircut at Great Clips.

Debra, Garyn, Rya and Hayden recently moved and are now living in Phoenix, AZ.  We wish we could see them and Nicholas more.  I'll write more on this later as we discuss some of our reasons for considering a move to California.

This Is Why We Love Dogs So Much

Kim and I miss our beloved Sadie very much.  She was so smart, loving, funny and loyal.  Kim and I are dog lovers.  I will never forget a bumper sticker I saw once which read... "The more I know people, the more I love my dog".

I stumbled across this Youtube video yesterday while surfing the net, reading news, etc.  Watch the older dog as she tries to teach and encourage the puppy to come down the stairs.  Simply amazing.  Wouldn't it be nice if more people were like dogs, loving and kind?

That's enough for today.  Check back tomorrow.

Love,
Ted and Kim
